Marla and Star were our wedding super heroes! After our first contracted DOC ghosted us only weeks away from the wedding, we were recommended Event Gal S.A. and Marla swooped and worked with us to get our vendors and timeline set last minute. A DOC was especially needed as we were planning a destination wedding (live in CA, married in TX). She was incredibly kind, understanding, organized, and communicative which was such a relief to know that we were in caring, good hands! We especially appreciated how she made us feel like a priority particularly since she was already busy prepping for another event that weekend. I can’t stress enough how great the communication was!
The day of our wedding, Star stepped in as our DOC and did an amazing job! She was incredibly sweet, organized, and on it. She gave me confidence that she could handle any issue that arose and ran our wedding smoothly. She also did an awesome job communicating to our vendors, family and guests, and checking in on me!

9.25.21 Bride here! Event Gal S.A is hands down The reason I did not have any worries the day of my wedding. There were things that did not go to plan but Marla was Proactive! I even received compliments from my guests that they were impressed that she was able to cover so much ground so quickly. A wedding coordinator is a necessity but to find a wedding coordinator that you can 100% trust is rare! Marla is awesome, she definitely went above and beyond what was listed in the contract. She was so flexible to work with and provided so much advice and support that she didn’t necessarily have to. It was an amazing experience!

We booked Marla for a month out, I think? But she’s been helping far before that!! Thanks to her help and expertise, our wedding day was amazing! Our families are even calling it “the wedding of the year” lol . I can’t imagine it would have been so great without Marla by our side! Especially since our families couldn’t help much since they don’t live near us. Thankfully, Marla was always there to guide us from the planning parts of it, to the day of. She learned our traditions that we wanted to incorporate on our wedding day, and she loved them! It was so cool to see. She defended and stood up for us when we ran into issues with vendors. She is definitely overprotective and we love it. She even saved us a few thousand dollars by researching different rain plan options. (So thankful!!) We probably wouldn’t be on our honeymoon had it not been for that!
We did have a few hiccups on our wedding day. But Marla was ready! She did a great job communicating with everyone and us to make sure everything kept running smoothly. Despite the hiccups, we always found a solution. All and all, our wedding was perfect. Steve and I, along with our families had a blast celebrating our love. That’s what we remember from our day and I give all the credit to Marla’s amazing help.
